About Albert
Albert was bred by Deirdre and Deeanne Slacke from Kandid Cattery - Burmese Cat Society of Australasia Breeder of the Year 1999, 2000 and 2001. He is a milk chocolate colour but has darkened considerably as he has grown. He has a rich dark face, chubby whisker pads, bright golden eyes, big soft paws and the most beautiful tuft of grey hairs on his tummy.- he is certainly very handsome. Overall Albert is an absolutely exquisite boy, both in temperament and appearance.

We found Albert through an advertisement on Catmatch as we were looking for a companion for our lilac Burmese Matilda. After speaking to Deirdre, we knew that Albert would be well worth the drive to Medowie which is 2.5 hours from Sydney. We decided on the name Albert as it went extremely well with Edward and Matilda and also after Prince Albert. So, on Thursday, April 12, 2001 (the Thursday before Easter) we headed off to see our little chocolate boy. I knew as soon as I held him that he was the boy for us and this was confirmed on the way home - he cuddled up and slept on my lap all the way home despite the comfy carrier we had prepared for him. Albert settled in extremely well and bonded instantly with Matilda but it has only been in recent times that he has become mates with Edward. He loves to rumble with Matilda and most times the two are inseparable.
I love Albert more than words could describe. We are all so privileged to have him as a member of our family - he is a very special boy.
